The studio of Lincolnshire UK artist John Gray
Welcome to John Gray Studio Arts the home of Lincolnshire artist John P Gray. John has painted for many years with commissions undertaken for both private and corporate clients at home and abroad. In 1995/96 he spent two years working on art projects in London´s West End theatres on musicals including "Miss Saigon", "Cats", "The Phantom of the Opera", "Les Miserables" and the Palladium revival of Lionel Bart´s "Oliver" with the support of Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber. With no set painting style John is adept at re-creating the work of past masters as well as producing his own original contemporary pieces and wide ranging subjects by commission. Where his paintings appear on the secondary market in galleries or at auction they usually achieve well above their original cost so can be a sound investment.
Whatever the piece of art you are looking for be it an oil on canvas or watercolour, a fine art copy, portrait or contemporary work, John is always pleased to discuss your requirements and give advice with absolutely no obligation. The cost of that piece of art you always wanted is probably less than you think as John will always try to accommodate your budget.
By viewing the gallery page you will see the wide spectrum of subjects and art styles. Most are sold as have been by commission, those for sale are priced accordingly. Dealing direct with the studio will save you at least 60% on gallery representation prices. Please use the contact page for further information or a commission quotation.
"Unlike many other artists, I am not driven by poetry the wind or some other obscure force - I just live eat and sleep art and simply wish to give my clients the painting they want at a price they can afford". |
